Introduction to Insanity Workout

Insanity workout is the 60 day ultimate cardiovascular exercise system created by Shaun T. and Beachbody. It's designed to help you lose weight, burn calories and excessive body fat in a very short amount of time. Routines lasts 45 min in average (some are longer), and you will have workouts every day except on Sunday. There are various kinds of exercises with really nice background music (it really helps to stay focused).
To start with insanity program you don't need any special equipment because your own body provides the resistance. Everything you need are all the DVDs, nutrition guide (it's very important to follow it for best results), calendar and fit test (I will provide download links for everything). Insanity workout is based on method called 'max interval training', which basically means that you'll have longer exercises with shorter breaks in between, so be ready to push hard (first week is going to be tough).

When you download insanity workout set you'll have 15 DVDs, insanity nutrition guide, workout calendar and fit test. YES i will provide deluxe version ;) and you can also choose which DVD to download. Important Tips

Insanity workout is probably the hardest exercise routine you can find on DVD today so please read this before you start with the program.
1). If you have any chronic medical issues it's recommended to consult your physician first.
2). For best results follow the nutrition guide, diet is just important as exercises.
3). Drink a lots of water during workouts and focus on breathing.
4). Modify, modify, modify and take breaks if you need to, especially in the first week.
5). You don't need any equipment but good pair of sneakers are highly recommended.

Like i said before it's really hard to download insanity workout for free since most of the links are 'not working anymore' and the new files are deleted as soon as they are uploaded online. Is a 60 day program, the first 4 weeks are Insane. Then you have a 6 day recovery week. Then you have another 4 weeks. If the other Max workouts are as challenging as this one, then the last 4 weeks will be CRAZY Insane. At the end of 59 minutes, my heart rate monitor showed a total of 921 calories burned.

In the last several years, I have never seen that high of a number after a Beachbody workout. When Beachbody says that this is the hardest DVD fitness program to date. They were serious.

Here is a brief lay out of the workout. Beginning with the warm up, which lasts approximately 10 minutes. The warm up consists of 3 rounds. You’ve been doing Insanity for 6 weeks, and your workouts have been 40+ minutes.

You can do this! Yes, its going to be harder, yes it’s longer. But you managed to get through the first workouts. So I know we will get through this too. Now as I type this, my legs are SCREAMING at me.

Together we can tackle this challenge! Your first set of exercises consists of 3 rounds. Each round has the same 4 moves.

The first round is 4 minutes. The second round is 3 minutes. And the 3rd round is 3 minutes, but at the end of the 3rd round only, you get a 1 minute bonus move. So it’s more like 4-3-4. The exercises are:. Pedal/Power Lunges (Sprint in place, followed by deep lunges). Ski Abs /Jacks/In & Out/Oblique ( Start in plank position, jump side to side for ski abs, then push ups, jump in and out in plank position, and finally alternating your knees to your elbows for obliques.

The final set of exercises. ( YEAH!) 3 rounds, same 4 moves. This time there is NOT a bonus move.

The first round is approximately 4 minutes, followed by two 3 minute rounds. Side Suicide Jumps. (From standing position, place your hands on the floor, jump to the left side. Stand up, repeat on the right). Squat Hooks. (Squat and hook punch, alternating hands).

Full Body Drill. (From standing position, drop to the plank position, run in place 8 times, walking push ups, then 8 wide knee, running in place). Plank Punches. (In a plank position, alternating hands, punch straight out). At this concludes the workout!

You take a 30 second water break, and about a 3 minute cool down. When the timer hits zero, you know without a DOUBT that you have accomplished something! Specifically, you accomplished burning calories! You accomplished burning some of that goo, we all are working so hard at removing, or keeping to a minimum.

I’m in week 2 of month 2, and (hopefully) nothing will keep me from finishing this time. I’m doing a bunch of things differently this time. I workout in the morning rather than at night, I’m focusing more on the diet than I did last time, I’m really trying to include a recovery formula right after I exercise. I was very nervous as to starting the max workouts. Nappy roots humdinger zip. I am 6’0, 255 lbs and I started at 280 lbs. I started the program with my best friend who has a similar body type and we decided we should repeat the first month since we felt we needed a real kick in the a. to prepare for the max.

Today was my first day of Max which is this workout. I pushed harder than ever and felt good as I kept pushing as the people in the video took breaks. I definitely feel this month will render excellent results and my friend and I decided to also do the Max month twice, making insanity a 4 month program for us. This is without a doubt, the hardest workout I’ve ever done in my life. I’ve done this four times so far, and if it wasn’t for all the supplements that I took I would’ve never made it through the first week of month 2.

Its a fun workout, don’t get me wrong, but the first time you go through this, you’re fighting every one of your muscles for just 2 more seconds without collapsing. I looked at my Asylum calendar, and this workout is used frequently in the hybrid. This just keeps making it harder to dig deeper during these last 3 weeks. (I had to restart my first week, which is why I did it 4 times.). I’m new to this and was just thinking of ordering the Insanity workout.

When I went to beachbody’s web page to order, it listed two different workouts. The Insanity 60-day total conditioning and then the Max interval. I used to work out every single day for years, but unfortunately it has been about 4 years since I’ve been in the gym! So I don’t want to start out too strong and get discouraged. So my question is, which of these two packages should I begin with?

If the max interval is the same as the 60-day total body conditioning, but includes bonuses or something, then I’m all for it, but if I am going to be over my head in this then I wouldn’t want to start with the max. So you will have 30 days to build up to the MAX workouts. Month 1 is still challenging.

So you’ll want to take breaks as needed, and allow yourself some time to adapt. It’s okay if you don’t keep up at first. If they were too easy, it would not get the results as quickly. I used to run ultra marathons in my twenties I’m 48 now and boy oh boy I gotta say insanity is mentally tougher than running 52 miles 🙂 or is it me getting older?
