We're trying to troubleshoot a problem with getting attachments OUT of Outlook 2016 Mac. We're using version 15.26.1 on MacOS 10.11.6 El Capitan, although this problem was apparent in previous patch levels of Outlook 2016 and previous MacOS versions as well(at least MacOS 10.9.5). We have replicated this behavior on several Macs.When we try to drag and drop an attachment from a message to the Finder, the file is copied properly.

How to perform Drag-and-Drop File Transfer from one computer to another
